1981 EXTENDED PLAY-INSPIRED COLLECTION
To learn how to render men's wear in my Fashion Illustration class, I was tasked with creating a collection complete with 5 men's looks. I wanted to break outside the norms of men's fashion with my project, stiving for a more androgynous look with niche aesthetics.
MY PROCESS
01
CREATING A MOOD BOARD
I am a huge fan of the 80's aesthetic, and wanted to experiment with different ways to capture it. The band "I Don't Know How But They Found Me" is a modern duo who base their act as if their content was lost media from the 80's. I wanted to incorporate the color scheme from their first EP, 1981 Extened Play, and base each outfit off a different song from it.

FULL COLLECTION

From left to right, the corresponding songs to each outfit are: "Absinthe", "Do It All the Time", "Bleed Magic", "Social Climb", "Choke", "Mx. Sinister", "Modern Day Cain, and "Introduction"
