"DEMISE" SHORT FILM
After the death of his wife, Dwight Brookes finds himself lost and unable to regulate his emotions as the man of the house. He expects things to fall right back into place after the funeral without allowing his young daughter Marilyn time to adjust to the loss of her mother, eventually leading to the destruction of their relationship and Dwight’s total isolation.
MY PROCESS
Aunt Donna, who was close with Gisele, is not fond of how Dwight treated his wife and daughter. She stands as a figure of comfort for Marilyn.
Gisele, wife of Dwight and mother of Marilyn, was a ray of sunshine in her family. Her recent death causes everyone's true opinions and true colors to come out.
