After extensive research on character development, I wanted to have a trend to represent each stage of this transformation. Playing with triangular silhouettes, whether pointing upwards or downwards, allowed the costumes to feel either stable or defiant, respectively. Utilizing ruffles added a soft, rounded element to my princesses, while the villains has sharp and pointy feathers.
