"THE SEARCH FOR ALEXANDER" SHORT FILM

Alexander sits beside a trail in an open field, with no idea who he is or how he got there. As travelers make their way along the trail, Alexander shares stories with the passersby, hoping to find some meaning in his situation and eventually learn the truth of who he really is.

ALEXANDER

Alexander, the main character, shows up on the path with no recollection of who he is or how he even got there to begin with.

THE CENSUS TAKER

The Census Taker is a strict man with a secret objective. He follows Alexander along the trail, constantly asking him questions and taking note of his answers.

MS. ROTHCHILD

Ms. Rothchild is a Victorian barmaid, owner of her own tavern. She overworks herself to keep it running yet is still kindhearted every step of the way.

JEB

Jeb is an impulsive and somewhat carefree employee of Ms. Rothchild's. He pulls his weight for the tavern, but his curiosity causes a dangerous run-in with the Man in Black.

THE HERMIT

The Hermit, based off he tarot card of the same name and Leon Russel, is a random passerby along the trail.

THE EMPRESS

The Empress, based off the tarot card of the same name and Janice Joplin, is a random passerby along the trail.

THE FOOL

The Fool, based off the tarot card of the same name and Sid Barrett, is a random passerby along the trail.

THE LOVERS

The Lovers, based off the tarot card of the same name along with John Lennon and Yoko Ono, are random passerbies on the trail.

THE SALESMAN

The Salesman, based off Stu Cook, is a random passerby along the trail.

THE STRONGMAN

The Strongman, based off the strongman of The Doors' album "Strange Days" and of Victorian Strongmen in general, is a random passerby along the trail.
