SEWING PROJECTS
Since attending the Carroll County Career and Technology Center in 2020, I've been struck with various points of inspiration and riddled with unique sewing projects. Both inside and outside of class, I constantly work to create crisp aesthetics challenge myself along the way.
With some leftover fabric from an old project, I decided to create an evening gown to suit my red velour.
SELF CONCEPT EXHIBIT
As a project for my concept development class, I had to make a sculpture, garment, and exhibit to embody my self concept.
KNITWEAR SWIMDRESS
As a project for my Special Topics in Knitwear class, I decided to make a swimsuit to fit my personal measurements.
"RICH GIRL" SET
As a final for my Tailoring class at Stevenson University, I was required to make a buttoned jacket with lapels and a matching companion piece. I made a matching jacket and skirt set inspired by Gwen Stefani's song "Rich Girl".
THE ASTAIRE DRESS
Stevenson University holds an annual awards ceremony for its Film and Moving Image department, similar to the Grammys. I created a dress inpired by velvet stage curtains to wear to the event.
As a final project for my Patternmaking class, I wanted to challenge myself by making a 2-piece set completely of PVC plastic.
As a project for my Draping class, I was tasked with creating a bustier and wanted to make something unconventional.
Stevenson University holds an annual awards ceremony for its Film and Moving Image department, similar to the Grammys. I created a blazer inpired by the Golden Age of film to wear to the event.
For Halloween 2021, I wanted to dress as a character from my favorite TV show, "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure". Cosplaying Dio, I experimented with EVA foam for the first time.
