Through this project, I learned the how to make weathering look natural. By wearing the garments while distressing them, I was able to put myself in the character's shoes and fully understand what makes those garments look old. Being able to experiment with powder, too, was new and learning that hairspray will hold it down opens up a new realm of possibilities for my weathering.
